Street Sox is a free, non-profit (applying) program, created by Paramedic Thomas Harrigan, providing new Hanes socks or clean used socks, and Nature Valley Granola Bars to the homeless and less fortunate, and alternatives to homelessness, in and around San Francisco, CA.

Donate Your New or Used Socks.
For new socks, looking for matching pairs, preferably white crew socks. Mens or Womens.
For used socks, looking for wearable, no holes, matching socks. We prefer that they are clean, but as with all socks, new and used, they will go through a commercial washer and dryer.
For socks that are not wearable, or damaged, they will be donated to an appropriate Council For Textile Recycling Center https://www.weardonaterecycle.org and www.Earth911.com .
Over 11,300 tons of socks end up in landfills yearly. You can reduce that by donating your used, wearable socks to StreetSox.org
